About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays both a strategic and tactical role and will support the full cycle recruiting process and be an integral part of scaling our team and supporting the build out of our hiring strategy during a period of tremendous growth. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will partner closely with hiring managers and support recruitment across all areas of the organization.

The individual in this role must be comfortable in a high-growth organization and have a willingness to learn and expand in the role.  Typical responsibilities will include sourcing candidates across various channels, planning and coordinating interviews, providing strong feedback loops, coordinating the assessment process across a structured framework and pre-hire to onboarding efforts to cultivate an amazing talent experience.

The successful candidate for this role will demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate or forecast needs and drive continuous improvement and vested interest across all stakeholders in the process.

 

What You Will Do

 Grow BestLife’s brand and talent pipeline

  • Support the building of BestLife’s external employer brand and communications, in partnership with People and Marketing leadership
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates and coordinate influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Help create a more diverse candidate pool by posting and sourcing in niche job boards and communities
  • Represent BestLife at recruiting events, in-person and virtually

 

Manage the end-to-end hiring process

  • Support the building of BestLife’s talent strategy, including best-in-class procedures, metrics, and structured process
  • Partner with hiring managers to create impeccable job postings (candidate profiles) through an attractive employer branding strategy to tell a story in a consistent way
  • Review and qualify incoming applicants, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews throughout the hiring process
  • Proactively source, review, and qualify candidates when job postings are not creating enough qualified candidates
  • Work cross-functionally with hiring managers to coordinate interview logistics, including hiring process and interview rounds
  • Partner with hiring managers to negotiate candidate compensation, close roles and extend offers
  • Provide impactful feedback to hiring managers, interviewers and candidates that contribute to 5-star service models
  • Support the RFP process/selection and end-user training for an ATS
  • Responsible for input/maintenance our ATS once implemented
  • Utilize ATS to track recruiting metrics to be reported on
  • Partner with hiring managers to improve recruiting efficiency

 

Support the post-hiring talent experience

  • Partner with People Operations on employee onboarding as needed

 

 What you bring to the table

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years managing progressive talent acquisition specifically acquisition/recruiting, and talent management practices within a high-growth environment
  • You have helped scale a company (rapid growth headcount) and can share actual scenarios of what worked and what didn’t
  • You can think analytically (tech & data savvy)
  • Knowledge and experience with people and applicant tracking software (ATS, HRIS)
  • A relationship builder with high EQ and collaboration and communication skills that allow you to be effective at influencing a variety of stakeholders, including physicians
  • Ability to clearly and simply craft process, systems, and new programs
  • Demonstrate a self-starter mentality with a roll of your sleeves and get things done (nothing is beneath you)
  • You are proactive and passionate about providing amazing candidate experiences
  • Relentlessly focused on optimization (entrepreneurial spirit), reaching our goals and passionate about performance health
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare best practices (nice to have)
  • Knowledgeable of federal, state, and local employer labor laws related to hiring practices
  • Nice to have Talent Acquisition Strategist (TAS), Certified Recruiting Specialist (CRS), or Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
  • Ethical and trustworthy
