About the Role:

You will be joining a small development team that is responsible for a highly customized salesforce instance.  As a developer on the team, you will be responsible bringing ideas of the business leaders to reality.  You will collaborate with internal teams to develop custom solutions to fit business goals across the entire organization.

You will be gathering requirements from project stakeholders, technical architects and acting on those requirements to build solutions.

You will need to demonstrate an understanding of software engineering concepts and be responsible for working on full lifecycle engineering efforts using Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted best practices.

You will help drive highly visible Salesforce initiatives across the organization including building solutions on the platform and supporting integrations, coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating and modifying existing applications.

You will also own support cases that require advanced problem solving for our diverse user base.

As a subject matter expert, you should be confident and understand how to push back on ideas that will compromise the integrity of the data and salesforce instance.


  • Build Salesforce applications using Apex and Visualforce and leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support the company’s programs.
  • Develop highly interactive UI using Visualforce, Aura, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Develop custom applications using Salesforce. com and integrating salesforce.com with other systems
  • Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce. com platform
  • Assist in creating testing and implementations plans, including user training and documentation.
  • Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.
  • Assist in end-user troubleshooting escalated from HelpDesk.



  • Experience with Apex, Visualforce and the Lightning Component Framework. (3-4 Years)
  • Experience in administration and setup, (e.g., managing users, security controls, and data as well as creating roles, profiles, and reports)
  • Experience with APIs and integrations. (Preferred)
  • Experience working using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with software development outside of the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous work experience with application and software development.
  • Working knowledge of VS Code, Jira, and Confluence to project manage. (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of relational databases
