About the Role:

The Pharmacy Services Coordinator is responsible for the management of pharmacy products and orders. This may include responding to emails and answering phone inquiries from Patient Experience Coordinators, Pharmacy Liaisons and Pharmacy Partner staff, the ability to understand FDA and state pharmacy regulations. The incumbent must also have a basic understanding of select RX products and dosing, maintaining RX formulary, and being able to review reports and identify order, script, financial and shipping issues. The Pharmacy Services Coordinator works directly with Client Experience Coordinators, Client Experience Leadership, CIDC, Center Physicians, Partner Pharmacies and UPS/FedEx daily.

 

What you will be doing:

Pharmacy Team Accountability:

  • Prioritize and handle pharmacy order inquiries and communications with center staff members
  • Handle email and phone requests from the partner pharmacy fulfillment team – verifying E-RX procedures and compliance, adjusting script errors, adjusting orders, shipping errors, etc., as well as fielding inquiries from that team
  • Processes UPS reroutes, holds, claims and manages Quantum View Report for daily shipping

 

Operations Support Accountability:

  • Manages Formulary updates, Weekly Forecast reports, Morning Pharmacy Charge Decline reports, Pharmacy Invoice Reconciliation, participates in recurring meetings with Pharmacy Partners, Updating Pharmacy Team procedures and pharmacy training materials for staff
  • Reviews and manages pharmacy data reports and Google Tracking documents
  • Completes various tasks on computer, utilizing Salesforce and E-RX systems (MDToolbox)
  • Maintains and files sundry patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations as well as state and federal statutes regarding the retention, storage and release of protected health information (PHI)
  • Relies on protocol, established procedures and prior experience to make decisions based on the company’s best interest and to the benefit of Cenegenics partners, affiliates and patients

  • Demonstrates strict attention to detail when processing requests and reviews work for completeness and accuracy in accordance with Cenegenics policies and within the realm of the vision of Cenegenics
  • Constantly meets established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards
  • Adheres to 5-star service standards at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Technical skills, particularly database entry and Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to adapt to and thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to type 35 WPM
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime as needed 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Exercise Science, Physiology, Biochemistry, Health Science,
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Pharmacy, prescription data entry/fulfillment experience preferred
  • Pharmacy tech license/certification preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret general business and medical correspondence
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare marketing best practices
