About the Role

The Health Performance Coach is responsible for drawing upon established resources of a healthcare organization and create a new start up based on a known model. Manage patient interactions via various communication methods including health coach application, SMS messaging systems and video conferencing to provide health, nutrition and exercise consultations and support for our growing patient base. This role will be a clinical liaison working with the physician and patients on our comprehensive healthcare memberships. The Health Performance Coach will complete initial consultations with each patient revising the patient’s intake forms to create a custom approach to their dietary and exercise regimen. This position requires excellent customer service, nutrition and exercise coaching skills as well as a proven track-record of growing direct response in the health space and start ups and being adept at working within a long-established organization.

 What You Will Do

 Use your knowledge and skills to assist our patients in their journey toward their optimal health goals

  • Oversee a number of patients from initial consultations to weekly coaching
  • Establish impeccable reputation and credibility within clinical community
  • Create personalized nutrition and exercise programs for patients along with proper modifications
  • Manage patients with best-in-class communication and training applications
  • Retain patients through excellent customer service
  • Work directly with leadership team to drive sales
  • Work with physicians, patients and internal teams to manage program memberships
  • Act as “Company Voice” with attention to Brand and Product Positioning
  • Update, support and optimize company brand and product positioning so that company messaging is cohesive, attractive, consistent and aligned
  • Discover and communicate customer insights to the greater organization
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain/update patient health records
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job


What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, Biochemistry, Health Science, Kinesiology or related field or equivalent related experience.
  • Current BLS for Health Care Providers Certification preferred
  • American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certification preferred.
  • 5+ years professional experience with a strong record of nutrition and exercise coaching as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Coach or Nutrition Counselor
  • A communicator, motivating health coach with exceptional clinical knowledge in the health and wellness space especially with regard to proper supplementation
  • Experienced in nutrition and exercise consultations
  • Tech-savvy, results-driven and highly motivational
  • Skillful at working with a variety of channels to source different customer types, including physicians
  • Passionate for member success, ready to facilitate overcoming obstacles
  • Worked in the BHRT space or similar field upselling products
  • Familiar with hormone replacement therapy, peptides, exosomes, shockwave etc.
  • Quick to roll up your sleeves
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products; Salesforce/CRM experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Passionate about performance health and digital health spaces
  • Track record of managing cross functional projects or patient bases to implement heath programs
  • Experience coaching, training, motivating, mentoring clients or patients
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare marketing best practices
